CSU's Engines Lab tested a Caterpilliar 3512 diesel generator at 1000w load to determine whether CN1 Diesel Catalyst could improve performance and cut pollutants without engine modification

A controlled field test of CN1 and CN3 Diesel and Oil Catalysts was conducted during live drilling operations in the Barnett Shale. The objective was to reduce emissions and fuel use, improve engine life, and increase output without engine modification
